Terms and Conditions for Using DEI4SME Digital Tools

1. Purpose

The DEI4SME digital tools ("Tools") are provided as part of the DEI4SME project, co-funded by the European Union, to support small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) in assessing and improving their social sustainability practices.

2. Acceptance

By checking the consent box and using any of the Tools, you agree to these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree, please do not use the Tools.

3. Data Processing

  • The Tools do not store, retain, or share any personal or company data you enter.
  • All information is processed solely to generate your report and is permanently deleted from our systems immediately after processing.
  • No data is kept for analytics, marketing, or any other purpose.
  • You retain full control of your data at all times.

4. Generated Reports

  • Reports (PDF files and signature files) are generated based on the information you provide.
  • Generated files are available for download for a limited time (approximately 30 minutes) after which they are automatically deleted from our servers.
  • You are responsible for saving and storing your downloaded reports.
  • The content of the reports reflects only the data you have entered and does not constitute professional advice.

5. Email Delivery

  • If you choose to receive your report via email, the email address you provide is used solely for delivering the report.
  • Your email address is not stored, shared, or used for any other purpose.

6. Intellectual Property

  • The Tools, their design, code, and documentation are the intellectual property of the DEI4SME project consortium.
  • The reports you generate are yours to use, share, and distribute as you see fit.

7. Disclaimer

  • The Tools are provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied.
  • The DEI4SME project consortium does not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or suitability of the Tools for any particular purpose.
  • The Tools are intended as self-assessment aids and do not replace professional sustainability consulting or legal compliance advice.

8. Limitation of Liability

The DEI4SME project consortium shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of or inability to use the Tools.

9. Availability

  • The Tools are provided free of charge during and after the project period, subject to funding availability.
  • We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue the Tools at any time without prior notice.

10. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the European Union and the applicable national laws of the project coordinator's jurisdiction.
